The Engine, Baldock

The Engine is the first pub you come to when exiting Baldock station and for the record it is a two bar Greene King tied house with the public bar fronting onto the street and a lounge bar to the back that can be entered from the side. Won’t rate it as I chose to duck having a beer in this one as I could only see a couple of the GK brews including IPA on the three pumps I counted. Seems to be one favoured by the Baldock youth and had several gaming machines and a Pool table which took up most of the space in one of the bars, along with a large screen for the Sky footy. From posters on the wall in the public also looked like it had regular bands normally once a month on Saturdays.
