A PUB has been banned from selling alcohol after a huge fight broke out at the end of an 18th birthday party. Around 40 people were involved in the brawl outside the Compass Rose pub in Anchorage Park that left one man needing surgery on his hand. even though a bit of a trip to get to from the city centre, this place is great to chill out in with the kids and friends. not over the top like some places during the day and the staff are great.

A very busy and seemingly family friendly pub, located close to Morrison's and there is a massive, shared, car park. I was there just after 10 AM, and there were people inside, not boozing but it looked like having coffee. If it had not been so early I would have sampled it Kiddies play area [fenced], serves food, outside seating Would seem ideal spot to have a pint whilst other half does the wandering around Morrison's deciding what to buy :-)
