The Wheelwright Arms, Luton

A one-roomed town centre local with all of six hand pumps, but nothing to suggest that any more than two are in regular use (i.e. no beer list, no pump clips on the walls, etc). The two that were on were Greene King IPA and Fullers London Pride. I had the latter, which was OK, but Pride has changed recently and is not the beer it used to be. There's a pool table in the centre of the room, and there was a darts match in progress when I was here. The TVs had Sky sports on with the sound down, and there was music on instead. Old team photos adorn the walls; I saw Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Nottingham Forest - and had to look quite hard before finding the Luton Town photos - very strange.
