Old Vine, Cousley Wood, Wadhurst

Attractive old pub between Wadhurst and Lamberhurst, and reasonably handy for Bewl Water. The focus is very much on food here, with a fancy restaurant towards the back of the partly opened-out interior, but all are welcome in the central bar, with a lounge on the left-hand side and a general seating / dining area to the other. A few wooden benches can also be found in the compact front beer garden. Two of the three handpumps were in use, offering the compulsory Harvey's (£4.40) plus Landlord.
