The Wellington Hotel, Seaford

The Wellington is a pub with a comfortable saloon bar on the right and a separate public bar on the left. There is a projector screen in the saloon side for big games and the public bar has three plasma screens, which is probably one too many for its size. There is also a dartboard and a jukebox and unlike the saloon the walls are decorated with signed football and rugby shirts. At the rear of the pub there is a food serving area and all of the seats were set for dining, although no food was laid out during my visit just after lunchtime on Monday. On the drinks front there is a standard and premium draught selection alongside six hand pumps. Being a Greene King pub IPA and Olde Trip were both available during my visit, but there were four guest ales available and I’d not heard of any of them. Even though quiet, I liked it in here and would have no problem returning.
