The Lansdown Arms, Lewes

Only went into this pub to escape the torrential May rain and try to call a cab to take us to the Snowdrop, having just arrived in town by train. Castle Rock Harvest Pale and Timothy Taylor Landlord on the bar kind of summed the place up and despite the quirky decorations from many yard sales and car boots, I was un-inspired. It proved to be true that the toilets were stinkers and when the rain stopped, we headed for the door. The Harvest pale being a bit close to home, I opted for the Timbos and regretted it as it was slightly cloudy and not great tasting. Probably won't bother again.
