The Wick Inn, Hove

A busy, freindly and large pub in Hove on two floor. The service is fast and the staff are great. The ale selection is brilliant, all sourced from Sussex Micro Breweries. If you visit you must also try the food. They do amazing pizza Monday to Saturday and a roast on Sundays. The pizza is the best I've had outside of Italy and at £5.95 for a 12" margherita it is a ample meal for one or a light meal for two. The Sunday roast is huge and well cooked, think home cooked rather than Gordon Ramsey, which is what I look for. Not fussy stuff pilled into a tower with hardly any gravy! The meat is of good quality and the veg is cooked to perfection with a real home cooked Yorkshire pudding and real gravy. My mate loves the nut roast, so the veggies are happy too!
