Imperial, Hastings

The Imperial is a single room pub where the bar is located to the right and stocked with standard draught products alongside an unused hand pump and Courage Best. This was in fact the last pub on a crawl of the area last Friday night so I didn’t arrive until just after 22:30. It was quiet with a couple of people sitting at the tables and three lads playing on the pool table. I was going to get my darts out and have a throw on one of the two boards at the rear of the pub, but I couldn’t see straight. The pool table is free on Mondays and there are extended opening hours until midnight Mondays to Fridays, 2am on Saturdays and again midnight on Sundays. I thought that this place was one of the friendlier pubs of the area and I would pop back in if passing.
