The Dolphin, Eastbourne

Visited 07/02/26 Cask was three Long Man staples, Best, Old Man and Long Blonde plus one from Three Acres that I just missed as the clip was turned round when my pint was attempted. Keg was Angelo Poretti, Weston's Stowford Press, Guinness, Fosters, Neck Oil , Brixton Reliance Pale Ale & Cruz. Bare boarded venue with bar counter facing entrance with some tall stool seating at the side of the bar counter nearer the log fire. Elegant wood panelled and wood beamed venue with fitted wooden bench under the front leaded stained-glass windows serving regular tables with regular chairs the other side thereof and then some tables served by banquettes and chairs at the left-hand side of the bar counter leading into a smaller tiled seating area behind the bar counter. Beyond that is a large restaurant area leading out onto a beer garden. The restaurant area looked to be traditional with again plenty of wood but was turned over to a private booking on my visit so didn't go and investigate. Very much a local’s venue with patrons more our age than some of the other venues around here.
