Idle Hands has reverted to being called the Royal Standard. The serving counter in the left rear corner supports premium and mainstream craft keg and the food stretches to pies that are available from a heated cabinet. The television was airing muted cricket via Sky Sports and some background music was playing during a recent Saturday mid-afternoon visit. The interior is smart, and the barman was very friendly, but the lack of any interesting draught means that I’ll not be returning, until maybe another change of name.

Now a craft bar with 12 keg taps with beers on from a range of A list brewers. A dimly lit single room with an assortment seating including leather sofas, stools,chairs and tables. Although the beer list was good it wasn't cheap, two thirds of Siren Double Double at 6.0% was a fiver. Ok but not a place for an extended stay.
