Duke of Wellington, Brighton

The Duke of Wellington is an L shaped pub with a pool room behind the bar that also houses a plasma screen. There is also a plasma screen on the back wall for showing Sky Sports and there is an outside area with a few tables. One of the three hand pumps was unused, but Tribute and Harveys Best were available from the other two. There is a standard draught selection alongside Staropramen and the Guinness was well served by a friendly barmaid. Some random music was playing in the background that ranged from reggae to Dire Straights and although this pub wasn’t as busy as its peers I though that there was a good atmosphere. I liked it in here and would have no problem in returning.
