Bulldog, Brighton

The Bulldog was fairly busy on Wednesday evening and a disco was in full swing complete with flashing lights etc. The plasma screens were showing swirly patterns and there was no escape from the madness in this single room pub. The staff were friendly and I received a decent half of Doom Bar. Harveys Best and Worthington’s Winter Shield were also available alongside a standard draught selection. I thought that this place was a stereotypical gay pub and this is how I imagined every gay pub to be before I ever wandered into one. I can’t imagine returning here in any great hurry.
