The Albert Inn, Wyke Regis, Weymouth

Weymouth and Portland Borough Council’s Planning and Traffic Committee voted in favour of transforming the Albert Inn, Wyke Regis into five residential flats.

This is a friendly local pub that keeps very good pints of Abbott Ale and Old Rosie Cider. They also do the usual lagers and a Courage Best Keg Bitter. The pub has quite an old fashioned decor, but they also have a fairly large LCD TV on the wall and a projection screen for really popular events. There are 2 dart boards and a pool table squeezed into what is really quite a small building, that is some 150+ years old. They do a very good value for money Sunday Roast and they have a pleasant beer garden in the back with a car park for around 20 cars behind that. All in all, a nice locals pub that will happily cater for anybody.
