A very friendly country pub, off the beaten track. It sits prominently in the middle of the village though it feels a bit crowded by other buildings. The garden is formed around the car park, with bench seating on small lawns, an outside bar and a ... [more>] |

Nice restaurant in a lovely picturesque village but not a pub for the serious beer drinker. The Exmoor Ale and Gold was fine (albeit a bit unadventurous) but the atmosphere on Sunday lunchtime reminded me of a chapel of rest. |
