According to an old Sussex beer guide this was a Courage pub called the Wilmington Arms and apparently even earlier the Black Horse. It seems fitting that the current name should reflect the local chalk figure and that this pub has also adopted itsel... [more>] |

Not much to look at from the road, so the attractive light and modern decor inside comes as something of a surprise. We were also immediately impressed by the friendly and helpful landlord, and you could see why the two legs of the bar were filling ... [more>] |
