An interesting early nineteenth-century building with splendid (and hopefully unused) fortifications added later. Inside it is all traditional, with a small lower room out of use when we visited, and a larger bar up a couple of stairs, then a canteen... [more>] |

Enjoyed Gundog Jack Spaniels and Titanic Plum Porter in this popular bar which we visited while on a CAMRA trip in the area. Different drinking and eating areas inside, and will be popular with walkers . |
