Almost beside the Daw End Branch Canal, this pub is now more of a Nepalese / Indian restaurant on the lounge side, but retaining a separate public bar. Unfussy furniture and limited decoration, but all tidy enough. No cask ale of course, but the Co... [more>]

Reasonable pub in a 'new-trying-to-look-old' building, mainly seeming to attract passing trade and travellers from the hotel opposite through the food offering. Draught ales from Marston's range although only Hobgoblin was on at time of visit.
