I wasn't sure if this village pub would be open on a midweek afternoon. However, it seems to open all day every day during the summer months, as it enjoys a picturesque location next to the River Avon and near a bridge over it. Hence the name. The p... [more>] |

Fairly plain inside and out, the interior is a bit modern for my tastes and the choice of the Wimbledon final, up against thumping dance music from behind the bar, as I sat on a high seat, didn’t help me warm to it. Four ales on in Doom Bar, Flacks, ... [more>] |
