Modernised country pub close to the Downs Link walking and cycling route along the old railway line through Southwater. Quite a compact bar seating area, but there's a rear room, a semi-separate restaurant in a converted barn on the right-hand side ... [more>] |

This country pub is newly reopened after a refurbishment and is now considerably less Marstons and somewhat more local, with Harvey's Sussex and Crafty The Donk (another best bitter) on the handpumps . A 3rd pump suggests possible further options. O... [more>] |
