Large family-friendly corner pub on a busy junction. A genuine two-roomer with a central servery. Fairly corporate décor but warm and tidy on a miserable day. Majors on pub grub and the Sunday roast portions were impressive. Football on at a sensible... [more>]

The Orange Tree

After Spingfields, the pub became the Orange Tree but later closed. The local press says it has started to be refurbished (Jan 2013) and will reopen in April 2014! I would guess that it will open under another new name.
