Large interwar pub. Schizophrenic refurb; whilst the dark varnished wood and glass servery remains, the rest of the wood is now white and sky blue, clashing somewhat with the green pub carpet. Loud TVs. No ale, so a good Guinness. Cobs available. I g... [more>]

now confirmed after a further look on the everards web-site that the pub has now been fully closed. local press and harborugh council have also confirmed that tesco and the co-op have put in bids to turn the site into a shop with above shop flats. in... [more>]
