The Peacock was packed on our late Saturday afternoon visit. Most were in one room watching the FA Cup Final. We decided to retreat to the beer garden for a bit of space. Service was friendly. The usual Black Sheep Best Bitter was accompanied by Wyc... [more>] |

Lovely, cosy little village pub just outside of Stanley, Co. Durham. Real ales and good food at very reasonable prices. Can recommend the steak, the gammon and the Sunday Lunch! Well worth a visit if you're ever in the area! |
