A quick tick before the train. Surprisingly high-ceilinged palatial interior (presumably a former bank) with ornate plaster work on the raised ceiling and wooden clad panelling, which in another life could have been a Spoons conversion. The inverse c... [more>]

I came here on two midweek afternoons while they had a beer festival on. A good selection of local and further afield beers including a nice chocolate stout and a lovely 6% dark mild. Quiet and peaceful during the day. Helpful knowledgeable staff. Wo... [more>]
