A whitewashed brick pub in the centre of an attractive village on the road from Helmsley to York. Tardis like, the two little bars at the front, vestiges of the days when this was a village pub, expand into realms of dining. We popped into the rig... [more>] |

Not a bad place to stay. Beer kept well, but as is the case nowadays everywhere, over £3.00 a pint. The accommodation and food is OK and well worth a visit. |
