This is a detached corner pub. This pub is Victorian, and then called the Sportsman. Originally flieds stood opposite, now it is all built-up. By the 1930s the pub had been extended at the side and rear. The pub is a fantastic looking red brick build... [more>]

Sadly the Antelope has been converted into a restaurant. At least the building is largely unchanged with the original sign still in place.
