Family run independent hotel and if the google reviews are to be believed, a lovely steak pie available. There is a public bar - a room off to the left as you enter the bulding. Laurel and hardy prints on the walls, small bar and traditional feel. ... [more>]

Decent pub in the small village of Sleights. Not far from Whitby. There were 3 beers on when I called - Black Sheep bitter, Morland bitter and Back Of The Net. I went for the latter and it was fine. Well worth a visit.
