Hotel and pub in the middle of the village once famed for sword making by German immigrants, hence the name. The pub part is on the right with a separate door to the hotel section. There are no pulls in the hotel bar only a low T bar and a couple of ... [more>] |

I couldn't see the pub door at first because of the cars parked as close as they could be. Not because of the rain, which wasn't that heavy, after all I'd been cycling for nearly two hours and was still fairly cheerful - just laziness, I guess. Once ... [more>] |
