Stopped here for some food on the way to Fountains Abbey, having food in the bistro which was very good, plus a pint or two of the Black Sheep which was excellent |

Possibly the only pub in England with a Baronet's name over the door, the licence holder is Sir Thomas Ingilby, Bart, he lives in the castle next door to the hotel. The Boar's Head is the bar of a smart hotel in an elegant planned, or model village, ... [more>] |
