A quick revisit found three ales on, I went for the Church End Goats Milk (very good) and Palmers 200 (poor). A shame the Palmers was poor, as I do quite like this place as a pub but that is only one ale out of three I've had here that's been genuine... [more>] |

I thought this was a very worthwhile stop for a beer,right next to the canal with friendly and knowledgeable service and well kept real ale.There are good views from the upstairs bar,and a decent selection of pump clips indicating a changing list of ... [more>] |
