An excellent traditional pub just across from the Shudehill interchange. An unchanging old-style 3-roomer so still as described below and very nice too. Holts Bitter (£3.70) plus a guest, which on this visit was Ossett White Rat.

Now a branch of the Head of Steam chain. There are now 6 handpumps, all of which were badged on our Wednesday, late afternoon visit. We decided to eat here and I had some chicken wings which were OK, but not great value for the amount I got. I tried ... [more>]
