Substantial ex-Ansell's house with an imposing curved facade. Open split-level interior with a mix of furniture and décor (but all quite plain). Limited desi menu. Still no cask ale of course, so went for the Cobra (£2.10, half) before moving on.... [more>]

Large Tap Room which is a bit in the middle on nowhere. A good 25 minute walk to the Villa ground but it is a decent place to get away from after the match. Plenty of Villa fans in pre match. Cobs on sale. A good range of beers on including Hop Star,... [more>]
