Imposing ex-Spoons, adequately described below. It looks massive and feels even bigger on the inside, with a lot to admire from an architectural point of view- curved glass and wood. Sadly, it no longer seems to sell real ale, with just national kegs... [more>] |

Landmark building opposite Nelson's railway / bus interchange. Vast interior, with a large curved bar and various lounges, pool room, etc. I don't know whether the higher levels are still in use, but one can imagine all sorts of former function roo... [more>] |
