The Green Man was closed for months while a complete refurbishment took place. It re-opened recently, but not as the Green Man. It is now Alec's restaurant. I have not rated it, as it was shut when I visited. Should it remain on this site? [Marked as... [more>] |

My father, Cyril Collis, kept this pub in the 1950s. I wonder if cricket is still played on the green opposite. It's got to warrant 4 stars - for old times sake alone! |
