A traditional basic back street local as described by others, below. It was good to find a proper pub unspoilt by the tourist trade. Still a Palmer' pub, the ales on were Gold, IPA and 200, plus First Press Cider on draft. Keg options were Dorset ... [more>]

Locals' pub at the top end of town. There are 4 handpulls on the bar stocking Otter Ale & Bitter & Sharp's Atlantic. No guest beers were present on the fourth handpull on this occasion. Cider options on keg were limited to Thatcher's Gold & Haze. Wh... [more>]
