nice olde worlde pub out in the northern outskirts of Wigan. it’s a Marstons tied place but the corporate branding was not as overbearing as I feared from outside. low beams and rambling interior though this has been somewhat opened up. Four real ale... [more>] |

A excellent pub and with a welcoming atmosphere,and is the second oldest pub in england.Also has a bowling green at rear. |
