Arguably the oldest pub in Wales in the pretty village of Llangynwyd, reached by narrow country lanes with occasional wooden signs simply stating "pub" giving the weary traveller directions. This is a thatched building which has modern extensions. T... [more>] |

Although it is an old building, it is not strictly an old pub, having been a Monks retreat first. The designation of being a pub did not come until very much later. Very generous servings of good quality food here though. |
