Unlike the New George across the road this one did have a farty smell on entering otherwise much as I’ve found before, four pulls of nationals and locals. It’s traditionally furnished and décorated as described before albeit several years ago. |

Once through the very heavily sprung door, we got a good whiff of BO and passing wind from the nearby customers at the bar. The place was very busy on our Wednesday eve visit as their beers were on at £2 a pint. Four ales on handpump, Stancill Bitter... [more>] |
