Smallish local in Johnstown, about 15 minutes or so on foot from the centre of Carmarthen. Interior looks like three rooms blatted into one. Basic decor, white embossed wallpaper, 70s fake wood beams and a cheap looking carpet. Dartboard and jukebox... [more>] |

An interesting place. This pub looks like a former Georgian coaching house (and they claim it to be older), or a converted farm - there was a smithy at the back, even in the 30s. The main pub, the Royal Oak, was pretty much next door until after WWII... [more>] |
