This is now rather a scruffy pub, a former Tetleys house where I remember coming when my daughters were very small, about 20 years ago. It's got quite a decent playground for the kids, with plenty of benches for the adults to supervise them from, and... [more>] |

Beautiful pub on the bank of the River Mersey, done up again last year. Old Speckled Hen & Timothy Taylor's Landlord on draught! Often see bosses take their secretarys here! Closed on Mondays during the Winter. |
