Pleasant enough hotchpotch of rooms with the bar at the front, up to a snug with a log fire, then a restaurant separated off. We nabbed the seats by the fire, and on a freezing day was the only warm place in the pub, and it was one of the staff who ... [more>] |

A great old country pub.My Harvey ancestors lived here c 1750-1855.Splendid oak beams can be seen up in the roof at one end.A lovely Stowford cider. |
