Another excellent friendly pub a short walk down the road from the Traveller's Rest. It's your typical cosy country pub with log burners and carpets. There's a pool table to the right of entrance and also a very large impressive outdoor seating area.... [more>]

Another GBG pub, and only a short distance from the Travellers Rest, but it's as different as chalk and cheese; and given the presence of an extensive cheese board there, it's quite clear that this is the chalk. Or given the mining connotation of the... [more>]
