I missed a train from Heaton Chapel; never mind, they're every 15 minutes. The next one was cancelled, leaving me a half hour wait in near zero temperatures. Never mind, the Heaton Hops is open from 4pm and only five minutes from the station. Except ... [more>] |

Heaton Hops is a micro with a bare board floor and well used chunky wooden tables. There are three hand pumps on the counter that were drawing TT Boltmaker, Rooster’s Brewing’s Yankee and Track Brewing’s Sonoma. Craft and Belgian lagers are available... [more>] |
