A welcoming town pub with reasonable ale, this Victorian building has been extended with a single-storey annex and has a car park, though not much of a garden. There are 2 bars, a public bar that was quite echoey and noisy, and a more sedate lounge... [more>] |

Traditional friendly local dating from the mid 1800s and known localy as the Black and White , only one real ale on ,usually from a big brewer so Bombardier , Hobgoglin etc. Its OK for a pint if in the area |
