The Rose & Crown was a complete contrast to the other village pubs we'd visited in Essex. The car park has been turned into a large outdoor drinking area, with furniture from the pub and a marquee providing some cover. There's an entry and exit syst... [more>] |

After walking from The Pig & Whistle which seems to open when it feels like it I reached here gasping for a decent pint.Not to be.Only so called 'Moorland Original' or 'Ruddles' on tap.No wonder everyone was drinking Fosters.Place more like a morgue.... [more>] |
