This crossroads pub has recently reopened after a lengthy closure. The new owner is an enthusiast and a talker, I imagine a salesman in a former life, and seems to be enjoying life in the back of beyond. There's a campsite nearby, which appears to be... [more>] |

Barely clinging in there, it would seem. Grand wayside inn gone to seed. Shabby interior, bit that said, not actually the worse for that. Handwritten, pies-heavy menu. Decent and welcome pint of Thatchers. |
