With the nearby Harbourside pub being heavily renovated, the Royal Standard now appears to be the only pub in the small harbourside settlement of Flushing. The pub has more of a cafe/wine bar feel to it these days, with two rooms knocked into one. I... [more>] |

A fair-sized high-ceilinged town pub in the middle of this little village, L-shaped with a dining area at one end and a pool table at the other. Generally smart and tidy, with clean woodwork and a restrained level of decoration. A nice bank of seven ... [more>] |
