There was an item on local TV stating that 'The Woolpack' was to close, complaining that while trade in the summer was okay business over the winter was very poor. In 2005 the previous landlord also walked out. I walked past recently and they have ... [more>] |

In case you didn't know, it's famous as the original Woolpack from Emmerdale, although for filming purposes it has now been reconstructed on a set elsewhere. Don't expect to recognise the inside though. Seems quite a decent pub to me with a few ta... [more>] |
