Popular village local that makes regular appearances in the Good Beer Guide and for good reason. The pub has a carpeted bar to the front with coal fires at either end. There is a TV (switched off during our visit) in one corner. A jukebox was in use ... [more>] |

A good drinkers' pub with a couple of rooms and a terrace round the back somewhere. A nice bank of 5 handpumps offered 4 from Alnwick and a guest from Firebrick. |
