Appears that someone has spent a lot of money refurbishing this pub, which now needs to re-establish a bit of character in the fairly bland rooms. Similarly. at the rear, the garden has been part-decked with an enormous wheelchair ramp. The only beer... [more>]

A friendly 2 roomed pub next to the station. The room to the right had 3 handpumps on the bar and though they dispensed a rather pedestrian Doom Bore, Rev James and an Oakham beer this was a decent pub.
