Now demolished after 150 years of service as a pub, and notable for being the first building in Eccles to have gas lighting. Five new houses have now been built on the site. Thanks, Enterprise Inns. |

Traditional village pub with low ceilings and lots of wood (created over time from at least different buildings). Friendly atmosphere, and several comfy chairs. Four handpumps (with three on at time of visit), bur beer offering spoiled slightly by ... [more>] |
